On January 16, 2022, New Age Music Guide announced their top 10 music albums of 2021. People Passing Through, the debut album by The Song Gardeners, won Best New Age Music Album of the Year. The Guide reviewed over 250 albums, published 12 monthly charts, and winners were selected based on over 2,000 music requests and statistics.

This San Francisco Bay Area band was formed in August 2019 by singer/songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Corrie Dunn and Mary Gospe. People Passing Through was produced by David Scheibner and mastered by music industry icon Bernie Grundman.
